Ecole Diana Mariam School in Fajara on Friday received a donation of computers, T-shirts, and other learning materials at a ceremony held at the school's ground.
The items were donated by Viking Limited, Ruth Christensen, Mame Jeng, Rolf Christensen, Lamin Jeng, Dagmar Christensen and Core Migration Canada.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Madam Senghore, a staff of the school who chaired the occasion, reaffirmed their school's commitment in giving the pupils valuable and relevant education.
She said that the items, particularly the computers would be a boost-up for the IT department of the school.
Madam Senghore assured the donors that the items would be put to good use.
"Am fascinated and delighted with the skills displayed by the kids this morning.
This little gift is a token of appreciation of the good work you people are doing here", said Meme Jeng one of the donors.
Ruth Christensen, another donor assured the school of her continuous support.
Mary Samba-Christensen, the founder of the school thanked the donors for the kind gesture.
