Ebotown Football Academy Seeks Sponsorship

Ebotown Football Academy is a registered academy with the Gambia Football Association (GFA).

Like most academies in the country, finance is the number one problem affecting its progress.

The Ebotown outfit solicits the assistance of the private sector, individuals, philanthropists and donors, to help in realising their goals.

According to the Head Coach of Ebotown Football Academy, Yusupha M. Jarju, the academy was founded on 23rd June 2003, at the Ebotown Football Field, better known as Parki Jola with 25 players, 5 balls, no markers and one set of bibs.

He stated that the academy operates twice a wee": Saturday and Sunday, respectively. He disclosed that it now has 75 players in the U-10, U-12 and U-14 categories.

The academy which has registered a lot of success since its inception in 2003, according to Jarju, is set to resume training on 24th November 2009.

He thanked Coach Ebrima Manneh and Gambega Coca Cola Company, all of whom had immensely contributed to the success of the academy.
