The Serrekunda East Zonal side on Saturday drew goalless with Banjul Zonal team in a fund-raising football match played at the Serrekunda East mini stadium.
The keenly and well-contested encounter, is part of efforts to raised funds to be given to the zones to rebuild the capacity of their coaches and administrators through training, to enable them run Nawettan clubs effectively, as well as to improve the standard of the Nawettan.
The other purpose of the event is to strengthen the relationship between the zones, and to have a common understanding and lessen tension in the upcoming Super Nawettan.
