Olympafrica Centre/Serrekunda East male volleyball team recently defeated Interior male volleyball team by three straight sets in the ongoing Gambia Volleyball Association Knockout Championship at the Serrekunda East Mini-stadium Volleyball Lawn.
The home team Olympafrica Centre/Serrekunda East male volleyball team defeated the visitors' Interior male volleyball team by 25 sets to 23 sets, 25 sets to 19 and 25 sets to 17 to progress to the next stage of the competition.
Meanwhile, Old Jeshwang female volleyball team will travel to Brikama to face Brikama female volleyball team in the National Volleyball League at the Gambia College Volleyball Lawn.
Old Jeshwang female team are currently occupying third position with 12 points while Brikama are second from bottom with 6 points.
