A Dutch national and his Gambian accomplice were yesterday 12th January 2010 arraigned at the Kanifing Magistrates' Court for allegedly exposing an indecent picture and for conspiracy to commit a felony, to wit: trafficking in obscene publication.
George Oetelmans and his Gambian accomplice, Kadijatou Camara, pleaded "not guilty" before Principal Magistrate Joseph Ikpala.
According to the particulars of offence on count one, the accused persons on or about the month of November 2009, at Fajara conspired among others to commit a felony, to wit: traffick in obscene publication.
Count two stated that George Oetelmans on or about the month of November 2009, at Fajara exhibited an indecent picture of Kadijatou Camara.
The accused were granted court bail in the sum of D250, 000 each and asked to deposit their travel documents to the registrar.
Lawyer Kebba Sanyang represented the accused persons.
