Amadou Ceesay, a driver, was recently arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with leaving a motor vehicle at a dangerous place.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D50,000 with a Gambian surety.
According to the charge sheet, the defendant, Amadou Ceesay, on 22 December 2011, on a street after the Galp Petrol Station in Brikama, drove a motor vehicle with registration number KM 4754B and parked it at a place which caused obstruction and inconvenience to other road users.
The case was then adjourned till 18 January 2012.
In a similar development, one Pa Saikou Jammeh was also arraigned at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court, charged with leaving a motor vehicle at a dangerous place.
The charge sheet stated that the defendant, Pa Saikou Jammeh, on 26 December 2011, in a street after the Galp Petrol Station in Brikama, parked a motor vehicle with registration number BJL 2204H, thereby caused obstruction to other road users.
He denied the charge and was granted court bail of D50,000 with two Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned till 18 January 2012.
