Domestic league players, security to buy tickets in qualifiers

Entrance for Gambia domestic league players and security officers can only be ensured if they buy their own tickets to join spectators at the Independence Stadium for The Gambia-Algeria clash today, according to authoritative sources from the Gambia Football Association (GFA).

The GFA is sending a reminder to players in all categories of the domestic league that their licence cards issued to them by the GFA would not be valid for the match, says media officer Bakary B. Baldeh.

Security officers that will not be on active duty on the match day are as well urged to be at the stadium to cheer up the Scorpions upon buying their tickets at the gates.

The 1st leg of the African Cup of Nations preliminary match scheduled for today at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, has five categories of tickets on sale.

The ticket prices for the match are as minimal as follows: VIP- D1, 000, Covered D100, Opposite Covered D50 and D25 for Scoreboard and Opposite Scoreboard.
