FC Honka recent 2-1 defeat in the hands of Lahti has deferred its title run in the Finnish Veikkausliiga. They fell from 2nd on the league table to fourth place giving way to TPS and KuPS who are now second and third behind leaders Dawda Bah's HJK Helsinki.

The 22-year-old Gambian international, who played maximum minutes of 1344 for FC Honka, succeeded in scoring two goals for his side in two seasons.

Demba Savage, who has not featured for The Gambia in countless fixtures, also made 18 appearances for Honka.

The Finnish Veikkausliiga outfit, who finished second in last season contest with 49 points, are now faced with a big task of overtaking strong contenders such as TPS, KuPS and leading HKJ to celebrate as season winners with a few more matches to go.

Their next outing on the road is against Haka on Saturday, October 16, after enjoying a weekend break of international games around the globe.
