The Kanifing Magistrates’ Court recently entered judgment against a defendant, Mariama Ceesay, to pay D8, 200 and D800 as cost of the summon, as she failed to attend court without any genuine excuse.
The particulars of claim stated that some time in September 2011, the plaintiff, Sainabou Charreh, gave the defendant three pieces of cloth (GANILA) on credit basis which was agreed to be paid within three months, but the defendant failed to do so.
