The Kanifing Magistrates’ Court recently ordered one Pastor Oluwa, the defendant, to pay D7,000 and D225 as cost, being a loan given to him by one Lady Oluwa.
He accepted liabilities when the claim was read to him and was accordingly ordered to pay the said money.
According to the particulars of claim, the plaintiff claimed for the recovery of D7,000 being money given to the defendant as loan, which he had failed to pay since April 2011, despite several demands made by the plaintiff for the money to be paid.
