One Amadou Bah was recently dragged to court by one Abdurrahman for not paying back his money.
He denied part of the liability and was ordered to pay the sum admitted, which was D4,500.
The case was then adjourned till 16 December 2011.
According to the particulars of claim, the plaintiff claimed for the recovery of D8,400 being the cost of 84 kilos of meat supplied to the defendant for him to sell and give the plaintiff back the money, which he failed to do.
According to the claim, the defendant instead sold the meat and went at large until recently when he was found.
Despite several demands made for him to pay the money for the meat sold, the defendant still failed to make payment.
