Dasilami Community Association Women's team were Sunday knocked out of the 2011 inter-community women's football tournament sponsored by Kombo Central District Sports Committee in Saamasang.
They suffered a 3-2 defeat at the Mahaad playground in the hands of the women’s team of the Jamisa Community Association.
Jamisa finished 2nd place with 7 points in four games, with only a single point behind league leaders Kabafita, who remain unbeaten since the start of the tournament five weeks ago.
Kabafita Community Association women's team was Friday held to a 1-1 draw by the women's team of the Bafuloto Community Association, in another game played at the Cannan Multi-Purpose Centre football field in Brikama.
Bafuloto opened the scoring through Isatou Komma in the 10th minute when she converted from a penalty spot.
But Maimuna Susso levelled the score in the 50th minute from a clinical finish to make it 1-1.
The draw put Kabafita one point clear at the top of the table on 8 points in four games trailed by 2nd place Jamisa, while Bafuloto have occupied 3rd place with 5 points in four games.
