Dam Jah FC on Sunday 19th July 2010 defeated V. V. Raptim by 2-1 in the ongoing Manjai Kunda Youth Development Association Sports Committee Nawettan qualifiers at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.
The first chance of the game went to V. V. Raptim FC when Abdulai Mansaray made a wonderful shoot in the 3rd minute of the game, but goalkeeper Modou Mbye saved the ball for a corner kick.
Musa Alferd opened the score line for V. V. Raptim FC in the 10th minute of the game from a brilliant finisher when Abdulai Mansaray's powerful shoot slipped into the hands of goalkeeper Modou Mbye.
Salifu Manga had a free header to level the score line for Dam Jah FC in the 39th minute of the game, but he headed wide for a goal kick to V. V. Raptim FC.
In the second period of the game, Hamdou Badjie leveled the score line for Dam Jah FC in the 48th minute of the game from a brilliant strike.
Sulayman Njie sealed the victory for Dam Jah FC in the 54th minute from a penalty spot when defender Gibril Dumbuya made a handball inside V. V. Raptim FC eighteen-yard box.
