A man was recently granted bail of D50,000 by the Brikama Magistrates' Court, presided over by Magistrate Helary Abeke.
Alasan Sey was arraigned and charged with stealing from a bag, a charge he has denied.
According to the particulars of the offence, on 16 January 2011, at Brikama, the accused, Alasan Sey, stole a mobile phone marked Sonny Erison valued at D1,500, from the bag of one Jainaba Suso.
