Saikou Fatty of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court recently granted bail to one
Modou Lamin Ceesay of D3,000 with a Gambia surety who must deposit his or her
biometric ID card with the registrar of the court.
The development followed the denial by the accused on a charge of criminal trespass.
According to the particulars of the offence, on 25 March 2014, at Brusubi village, in Kombo North, the accused, Modou Lamin Ceesay, entered into the compound of one Demba Wally with intent to intimidate or annoy the complainant.
At that juncture, the police prosecutor applied for an adjournment and the application was granted.
The case was then adjourned till a later date.
