Bolanle Joel Ekanoye, who arrived in Sweden on July 7, is also working with gospel artiste Nancy Bergdahl to record a full gospel music album. Bergdahl and the RCCG Choir plan a joint studio recording session.
During his time in the country, the multi-talented producer, who is also a sound engineer, arranger, songwriter, singer, drummer and music director, has made a huge impact on the music scene greasing the wheels of the choir of the church.
Ekanoye, who goes under the artiste name Bmaster, is a three-time nominee for the African Gospel Music Award (presented in the UK) in the best gospel radio presenter category.
He has worked with platinum artistes like Frankie Dancehall Paul (Jamaica), Jaliba Kuyateh (The Gambia), Uganda’s topmost female singer Jennifer Lawala, Pacotille, Vivian Ndure (Senegal), G-Kay (Ghana) and other prominent artistes from U.K, America, Holland, Norway, Austria, Sweden, Nigeria, Serra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and others.
