Court hears cassava theft case

The Brikama Magistrates’ Court recently heard a case of stealing brought against one Wally Jatta.

According to the particulars of offence, the accused, Wally Jatta, on 10 February 2012, at Siffoe Village, Kombo South District, stole 8 bags of cassava valued at D8,000, being the property of one Ousman Jabang and Ebrima Kabiro Sarjo.

He admitted to the charge and was remanded until 19 March 2012, for facts and sentencing.
