Court hears case of prohibition of conduct and common assault

The Kanifing Magistrates’ Court on Monday heard the case of prohibition of conduct and common assault brought against Aminata Colley, Bintou Sanneh and Yamou Magaraga.

The charge sheet on count one stated that on 14 July 2012, at Latrikunda German, in the Kanifing Municipality, the accused persons, while in public place, conducted themselves in a manner likely to occasion a breach of the peace to wit uttering abusive language to the complainant, Amie Ndow.

Count two read that the 1st accused assaulted the said Amie Ndow, by stepping on her feet.

They all denied the charges and were each granted court bail of D10, 000 with a Gambian surety.

The case was adjourned till 13 August 2012.
