The case of common assault involving one Mutarr Tunkara was recently heard at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Babucarr Secka.
According to the charge sheet, on 19 April 2011, at Brikama Nyambia, the accused, Mutarr Tunkara, threw a tin of tomato paste containing water at one Adama Barrow.
Tunkara denied the charge and was subsequently granted court bail of D2,500, with a Gambian surety who must deposit a valid ID card.
The case continues on 12 July 2011.
