The UK's living illustrious guitar legendary, Original Sonofman, is in the country to breeze on live concert.
The long-awaited and much-talked about musical splash, is in the country to treat party-people. Guitar is a musical instrument enjoyed by many in Africa, Asia and even in the rest part of the world. As a result, many people learned how to play this instrument but for Sonofman who is fondly called Bob Marley, a comtemporary and obscure descended artist of UK origin, seems to be born and grown up with this special talent.
Sonofman is a well-known reggae musician and a guitarist from the English to the French and to the local dialects people. He had travelled far and wide in Europe, America, Asia and Africa to give people the hot musical taste for them to enjoy and interpret what life really means to them. He had also produced several albums to the markets around the globe, but five albums are currently enjoying prime air- time in radio stations in Africa, but to the smiling coast of Africa, The Gambia and others are held in the markets for local and international audience.
Speaking in an interview with Entertainment at Oko Drammeh's residence in Banjul, Original Sonofman said that his trip to The Gambia is a success, noting that the hospitality of the people is quite magnificent. Sonofman went on to explained that he started music about five years ago, exclusively adding that he trained himself to be a reggae music, rock-music, Hip-hop and classic music.
The Bob Marley musician as he is fondly called inspires a powerful sense of hope in the people and serve as strong messages that they can utilise in their lives.
The well-grounded reggae artist revealed that he has the intention to connect UK and The Gambia in the area of 'conscious music' as well as help to promote black-British cultural heritage in The Gambia.
Mr. Oko Drammeh, the African music promoter and music festival founder in Africa and Mr Reds, the Band Manager of Original Sonofman all attest to the fact that no one is in doubt about the much-talked about musician for his fluency and mastery in the musical arena. Last weekend, Sonofman staged a show at the Senegambia Craft market where he took everyone by surprise as he served the audience with a musical appetite.
