Case continues on alleged threatening violence, criminal trespass

The case of threatening violence, common assault and criminal trespass involving Lamin Jammeh, Foday Jammeh and Kabiro Jatta continued recently at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court.

In his testimony, Jerreh Demba told the court that there was a land dispute between the Jammeh Kunda family of Gunjurr village and the Sanyang Kunda family of Berending village.

He said he saw on the judgement paper from the High Court that the Jammeh Kunda family owns the said land.

After visiting the site, the two parties were called to a meeting, he said, adding that during the meeting, the Jammeh Kunda family produced a document of the judgement from the High Court.

He also testified that during the meeting, the Sanyang Kunda family did not produce any document for the land in dispute.
