Sanneh was recently arraigned before Principal Magistrate Kumba Sillah- Camara
of the Bundung Magistrates' Court on a charge of stealing.
He denied the charge.
In her testimony, the complainant Mrs Kumba Mbowe told the court that the accused was contracted by her husband to do some carpentry work in their house. She added that she left the sum of 30,000 CFA and D5000 in her wallet on the bed inside the room while accused was working there.
According to her, when she returned to the room she did not find the money and that the accused denied taking the money.
She said she later reported the matter to the Bundung Police Station.
