Campeh
Bi on Wednesday defeated Rising Star 3-1 on penalties, after a 2-2 draw in the
regular time at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium, to progress to the next round
of the Serrekunda East Nawettan qualifiers.

Bass gave Rising Rock FC the first goal in the 2nd minute of the game from a
fantastic strike before Janko Ceesay levelled the score for Campeh Bi FC in the
53rd minute of the game from an acrobatic volley to cancel John Bass’s 2nd
minute opener and make it 1-all.
Moment
later Rising Rock made it 2-1 up when Ansumana Sanneh netted the second goal in
the 68th minute of the game before Janko Ceesay levelled the scores for Campeh
Bi in the 80th minute of the game from penalty spot to push the game into
penalties, which ended 3-1 in favour of Campeh Bi.
The
win has snatched a place for Campeh Bi FC in the second round of the 2016
Serrekunda East Nawettan qualifiers, and Rising Rock FC are out and would need
to wait until next year, after losing to Campeh Bi on penalties following a 2-2
draw in the regular time.
