C.A. Jagne Draughts competition organised by the Gambia National Draughts Association (GNDA) and jointly sponsored by the Gambia Horticultural Enterprise and the Jagne Family has been rescheduled for Friday 3June 2011at the Manneh Sillah Memorial Courts in Banjul.
The championship, previously slated for Friday 27 May, has been re-scheduled due to the demise of Alhajie Badou Jasseh, former chairman of the Gambia Football Referees Committee and one time veteran sports icon who passed away at the weekend after a short illness, Pointsport was told.
The GNDA wishes to extend its apologies to the parties involved in the championship and deeply regrets any inconvenience this re-scheduling might have caused.
