Thirty-one affiliated clubs within Brikama and surrounding villages will converge at the regional education office in Brikama, for the biennial congress of the Brikama Youths and Sports Association, on Sunday.

The congress will witness the election of another executive that will look into the affairs of the committee for the coming years.

Alhagie S Darbo, Secretary General of the Committee, said as the countdown to congress nears people are showing interest in various positions especially the position of the presidency that currently has two aspirants namely Lamin J Sanneh and Lamin King Colley, the incumbent.

The positions of First and Second Vice Presidents, Social Secretary and Assist, Secretary General and Assistant, Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, Auditor and Auditor Clerk will be open for elections.

Secretary General Darbo said two delegates from each of the 31 affiliated clubs will make it to the congress with each having one voting right.
