Busumbala resident jailed

A resident of Busumbala village in Kombo North was recently sent to jail for six months without any alternative.

Mustapha Sonko was sentenced to six months in prisons after owning up to a crime of stealing a goat.

He was lately arraigned before magistrate John Njie of the Brikama Magistrates' Court for contravening section 252 of the Criminal Code, Cap.10, Vol.III of the Laws of The Gambia.
