A man
called Momodou Sey was recently convicted and sentenced to a fine of D4,000 in
default to serve 2 years in prison for breaking, and a fine of D 5,000 for
stealing, in default to serve 3 years in prison.
He was also ordered to pay a compensation of D2,300 in default to would serve another 3 months in prison, by Magistrate Asimota of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court.
According to the particulars of the offence on count one, on 3 February 2014, at Nema Su Village, the convict broke into the house of the complainant, thereby committed an offence.
On count two the particulars of the offence read that on 3 February 2014, at Nema Su Village, in Kombo North, West Coast Region, the convict stole five memory cards and D580, thereby committed an offence.
