Kombo North outfit Brufut United on Sunday lost to Kombo South outfit Sifoe United 1-0 in the week-ten fixtures played at the Sifoe Football Field in the 2014 West Coast Region third division league.

This has boosted Sifoe United chances of claiming the 2014 West Coast Region third division league title following Jambanjelly United goalless draw away to Black & White of Berending at the Berending Football Field at the weekend.

The defeat has dashed Brufut United’s hopes of lifting the 2014 West Coast Region third division title following Gunjur United’s 2-1 away victory over Farato United at the Football Field at the weekend.

Despite their goalless draw with Black & White of Berending in the week-ten fixtures played at the weekend, Jambanjelly United are still leading the 2014 West Coast Region third division league table with 21 points in ten games with one more game to go.

Gunjur United are 2nd place with 18 points in ten games. Brufut United and Sifoe United are 3rd and 4th places respectively with 17 points each in ten games, and Kombo Kerewan United 5th place with 16 points in nine games with a game in hand against Brikama.

Brikama United 6th place with 14 points in nine games with a game in hand against Kombo Kerewan United.

Busumbala United are 7th place with 13 points in ten games; Foni Berefet are 8th place with 9 points in ten outings and Black & White are 9th place with 8 points in ten games.

Farato United are 10th place with 5 points in ten games; Nema United are 2nd place from bottom with 4 points in nine games with a game in hand against New Yundum, while New Yundum are rooted at the bottom with only 2 points in ten games with a game in hand against Nema United.
