Brufut Utd shatter Immigration to salvage lead in GFF 2nd tier

Brufut United on Monday beat Immigration 1-0 in the week-fifteen fixtures played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to retrieve lead in the 2015-2016 Gambia Football Federation’s second division league.

The victory has earned Brufut United top spot in the second tier with 32 points in fifteen league matches following their slender win over Immigration.

The defeat has left Immigration mid-table in the second tier after their hard-fought defeat to Brufut United.

Tallinding United beat Serrekunda East Bi on the same scoreline in the all-Serrekunda derby fixtures played at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.

PSV Wellingara walloped Interior 5-0 at the Serrekunda West Mini Stadium; Red Hawks defeated Young Africans 1-0 in the all-Banjul derby fixtures at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Elsewhere, Bakau United drew 1-1 with Lamin United in the other week-fifteen fixtures at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda on the same day.
