The coastal town boys were unbeaten in their three opening games in the second round, after snatching three victories in a row against Foni Berefet United 3-0, M.L Dertusa 2-0 and Brikama 1-0 before their 1-all draw with the football academy in an all-Kombo derby clash to secure 32 points in fifteen games.
The draw has earned the academy boys one place above relegation, with 15 points in fifteen games and they are expecting to win their remaining fixtures to improve their position in the league and avoid relegation.
Elsewhere, Kombo Kerewan drew goalless with Sifoe United at the Sifoe football field; Busumbala also drew goalless with Brikama at the Brikama Box Bar mini stadium on the same day.
Nema Youths thumped Nema United 2-0 in an all-Kombo North derby game played at the Dembadou mini stadium on Sunday, while Foni Berefet United...at the Jambanjelly football field on the same day.
Sifoe United are with 24 points in fifteen games, Jambanjelly United with 23 points in fifteengames, Nema United with 18 points in fifteen games, and Brikama and Nema Youths with 18 points in fifteen games.
Foni Berefet are struggling with 14 points in fifteen games.
