Sifoe Senior Secondary School has maintained their hundred percent run in the Gambia Secondary Schools Sports Association (GSSSA) Brikama zone Inter-Schools Football Tournament.
They defeated Fatima Senior Secondary School 1-0 in a tightly-contested game played at the Bwiam football field in Kafuta on Friday.
Sifoe, the 2010 runners-up who lost to Farafenni on post-match penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in the regulation time, walloped Saint Francis Senior Secondary School 4-0 in their last encounter a fortnight ago, having come into the game with the objective of securing the maximum points, to stand a better chance of reaching the next round of the tournament.
Fatima also came into the game with the aim of grabbing the maximum points but surrendered to Sifoe, who are currently unbeaten since the start of the tournament last month.
Saint Francis Upper Basic School beat Gunjur Upper Basic School on the same score-line at the Saint Francis football field on the same day.
