Brikama zonal team came from one nil down to draw 1-1 with Serrekunda East in a well-contested friendly game played at the Brikama Mini Stadium at the weekend.
The game was dominated by the Serrekunda East zonal team, who launched a series of goal-scoring attempts in front of the Brikama zonal team’s goal mouth, but failed to find the back of the net.
Brikama zonal team who were very strong at the back created a few goal-scoring opportunities.
Serrekunda East zonal team continued their dominance, and threatened Brikama zonal team’s defence line,
This resulted in their opening goal through Real De Banjul’s creative midfielder Baboucarr Trawally alias Steve in the 65th minute of the game after slashing through Brikama zonal team’s defence line to give his side the lead.
Brikama zonal team responded and fought for an equalizer and levelled the score through substitute Musa Bojang in the dying minutes of the game, to cancel out Baboucarr Trawally’s 65th minute opener to share the spoils.
