The Sateyba made an excellent start to the game and created numerous goal-scoring opportunities, but fire all their chances into the bush.
Brikama United opened the scores through midfielder Modou Lamin Sawo in the 47th minute of the game from penalty after PSV Wellingara player handled the ball inside the eighteen-yard box to give his side the lead, which eventually proved to be the winner for Sateyba boys after deadlock in the first half.
The Wellingara-based outfit eliminated the current league champions Gamtel and Banjul United in the round sixteen and the quarterfinal, and responded back for an equaliser but could not break through Sateyba boy’s formidable defence thus the game ended 1-0 in favour of Brikama United.
Bombada beat the defending champions Wallidan on the same score line in the other semifinal to progress to the FF Cup final against Brikama United for an all-Brikama derby final set for 5 June 2016, at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
