Speaking to Pointsports on Sunday, the head coach of Brikama United FC Lang Kah Bojang, said that his team will prepare well for the league and he expressed optimism that he and his technicians will do their level best to make sure that the team stays in first division this season.
He revealed that the team started training one month back and they played two test matches against The Gambia National U-17 team. They lost one and drew one and they are expecting another series of test game before the league start.
He further revealed that his boys are ready for the challenge in the GFA first division league for the time in the history of the club.
He thanked his boys for commitment, dedication and determination during last year's second division leaguecampaign in which they were crowed champions of GFA second division league and gained promotion to first division for the first time in their history and he urged them to keep up the momentum.
He also thanked BYSA for giving them all the necessary materials during the last campaign and urged them keep up the challenge. He called on the community of Brikama to come forward and support the team.
