Reigning
league champions Brikama United will host Hawks in the Week 17 fixtures in the
2011-2012 Gambia Football Association (GFA) division one league at the Brikama
Box Bar Mini Stadium.
Brikama United, who have collected 19 points in sixteen games, will be expecting to bounce back after their 2-1 defeat to Wallidan last week as well as keeping their hopes of retaining their 2011 league title, while Hawks have collected 21 points in sixteen games.
Bakau giant killers Steve Biko will battle it out with city boys Real De Banjul at the Independence Stadium.
Real De Banjul have collected 23 points in sixteen games, while Steve Biko have collected 21 points in fifteen games with a game in hand against Serrekunda United.
Elsewhere, current league leaders Armed Forces with 25 points in sixteen games will clash with Gamtel with 19 points in sixteen games at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium on the same day.
On Sunday Young Africans with 19 points in sixteen games will meet Bakau United with 18 points in sixteen games at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.
Gambia Ports Authority with 23 points in sixteen games will take on Samger with 23 points in sixteen games at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium.
Elsewhere, record champions Wallidan will battle it out with Serrekunda United in the other Week 17 fixtures at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda.
Wallidan have collected 18 points in sixteen games, while Serrekunda United have collected 14 points and both sides are currently struggling on 2nd position from bottom and bottom of the league table respectively and are hoping for a win to move away from relegation.
