The friendly was part of both sides’ preparations for their respective competitions. Brikama are stretching up for the 2013 Skye Bank Gambia Limited-sponsored Super Nawettan zonal championship,while the Senegalese side are preparing for the 2013-2014 Senegalese domestic premier league competition as well as the league cupcompetition set to commence in 2014.
