Newly-promoted side Bombada has slipped in the 2014-2015 First-Eco Partners-sponsored Gambia Football Federation (GFF) division one league, following their 1-0 defeat to Banjul United in the week thirteen fixtures played at the Brikama Box Bar mini stadium at the weekend.
The Brikama-based outfit came all out for a win against the capital city-based outfit to snatch the vital three points and bounce back in the league, after losing to bottom placed Serrekunda United 2-1 in their previous game.
Ebrima Janneh’s 22nd minutes strike was enough for Banjul United to collect the vital three points.
The defeat was Bombada’s second successive defeat in a row, in the country’s premier league.
Gambia Armed Forces came from one nil down to beat Gambia Ports Authority 2-1 at the Banjul KG5 mini stadium.
Struggling side Serrekunda United came from behind to draw 1-1 with Hawks at the Serrekunda East mini stadium. Kabba Sambou was on target for Hawks, whilst Lamin Jassey came to the rescue for Serrekunda United.
