Blue Star rout Marimoo in 3rd Division Triangular

Blue Star on Wednesday beat Marimoo 1-0 at the Father Gough Sports Complex in Manjai Kunda, to maintain their hundred percent record in the 2014 Gambia Football Federation, GFF, third division triangular qualifiers.

Bakary Jatta scored the only goal for Blue Star in the game. The win was Blue Star’s second successive victory in the qualifiers, and boosts their hopes of regaining promotion to the second division.

The Manjai outfit now needs to win their upcoming fixtures to fancy their chances of gaining promotion to the second tier, following their 1-0 defeat to Blue Star.

The two teams with the highest number of points in the third division triangular qualifiers will gain promotion to the second division.
