The host village’s team will take on neighbours Mbankam in the opening game of the competition while Misiranding will battle it out with Amdalie the following day (Sunday 16 August 2015).
Meanwhile, group A comprises Mbollet Ba, Mbankam, Joko, Black Star and Sam Mbollet while group B features Kerr Jatta, Misiranding, Njongon, Amdalie and Mabou United.
As part of preparation for the competition, the committee organised a two-day coaching clinic for the coaches of the participating team at the Mbollet Ba Lower Basic School on 8 and 9 August 2015.
The closing ceremony of the course was graced by the president of the North Bank Region Football Association.
In another development, Bayba Financial Services on Friday 7 August 2015 presented a giant trophy and a cash prize of ten thousand dalasis to the association as sponsors, as well as their contribution towards football development in the region, at a ceremony held at its head office on Kairaba Avenue.
The money and trophy was received by Macodou N. Njie, president of the association, on behalf of his committee.
