Batokunku
are ready to battle with Farato for the 2017 Berewuleng Football Club-sponsored
Kombo South district tournament title.
The
Batokunku-village team will rub shoulders with Farato-village team in the
district’s biggest football fiesta re-scheduled final tomorrow, Saturday 19
August 2017, at the Jambanjelly Football Field at 4.30pm.
The
final was re-scheduled by the Kombo South District Sports Committee after
fracas interrupted the first final played at the Sanyang Football Field on 30
July 2017.
Both
villages will be vying to beat each other to clinch the Kombo South district
football tournament title.
The
winner for the re-scheduled final will receive a giant trophy, gold medals and
cash prize of D20,000, while the runners-up receive silver medals and cash
prize of D15,000.
