All routes are set for this year's Nawettan football in Basse, fondly called the curtain-raiser. The final is scheduled for 17th July with four teams lining up, such as T-Junction FC, Angal Futa, Manju and Couteh Jumbulu. They are expected to lock horns in the most hype curtain-raiser.
According to information gathered from the organisers, Basse Youth Association (BYA), the winner of the tournament will go home with D3, 500, while runners-up will get D2, 500.
In an interview with the Head Coach of T-junction, Soma Jorbateh, said his team is ready to maintain a bright start to the championship, as they did last year.
