Banyaka, the better side of the day, created numerous goal-scoring opportunities but were not clinical in front of the goal mouth as they squandered their scoring chances.
Jambur, on the other hand, also created few goal-scoring opportunities but they also failed to utilize their opportunities thus the game ended blank.
Banyaka and Jambur have both baggeda single point in one game and will be hoping to win their remaining games to keep their chances of making it to the quarterfinal as well as fancying their hopes of landing their first-ever Kombo South District Football Tournament.
Whilst the kickoff was taken by the president of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF), Mustapha Kebbeh, the match was also watched by GFF first-vice president Buba Star Janneh, secretary general Abass Bah and other dignitaries.
