Bala Musa Singhateh, alias Balaranks, has just released his first album entitled 'Emira' while in ardent preparation to embark on a countrywide tour starting from the 29th of this month.
The album, which contains 9 tracks, is now on steam, available for sale across the country.
Speaking in a telephone interview with Entertainment on Wednesday, Balaranks intimated that he would use the tour to promote his album as well as to take the Gambian flag higher.
The album, which includes a jingle for PURA – the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, was released at the KMC grounds.
The album is in both cassette and CD formats and is on sale at Legal Paradise FM, City Limits Radio, DJ Lamin Cham Recording Studio and other mega spots and attractions around town.
The Gambian young artiste also told Entertainment that by the beginning of 2012, he would produce another superb album. "I would like to tell them that the debut album is out," he said. "During the tour, we would go with some copies for those who cannot afford to buy the CD."
The star musician, whose hits can stimulate and sooth the mind even at first hearing, thanked those who contributed in one way or the other to the release of his album. These benefactors, he says, include Gamcel, KMC, Global Properties and PURA, who are the main sponsors.
