Baghda and Hammeh FC in Bakau Final

Baghda and Hammeh FC both booked their places in the final of the ongoing football tournament sponsored by Ebrima Njie and Ebrima Jawara set for the weekend in Bakau.

Baghdad in Monday's semi-final eliminated neighbours Shona Kunda 3-1 in a dramatic penalty shoot-out following a one all draw in the 90th minute of a fascinating encounter played at the Bakau Mini-stadium.

Former Steve Biko Star, Kawsu Jallow alias Preacher, opened the scoring for Baghdad from a brilliant long range strike and moments later Shona Kunda responded when striker Baboucarr (Kenkey) Sohna smashed them with a powerful header to level the score.
