Gambian footballer Baboucarr Sohna will make his debut this season for Karlslunds IF HFK in Saturday April 24th home match against Farsta in the Swedish Second Division league.
The right flank and left attacking influential footballer, who is gifted in both legs was sidelined due to an injury. He hoped to lead his side to victory following their 3-1 defeat against Enskede last weekend.
Born on April 22nd 1981, Sohna, a native of Bakau, and former Saitymatty FC player now Africell FC, his return to the playing field is good news for the club.
Sohna also played for Second Division clubs in Sweden, called Hudding IF on trials in 2009 and later with a Superetta Club Vestrafrolunda.
He plays in the same league with a Gambian compatriot Demba Jagne and former Wallidan star Yankuba Ceesay, alias Mal.
Demba Jagne's Sollentuna United FF will play Strömsberg on Saturday.
Earlier Sollentuna United enjoyed a 2-1 win over Enköping last weekend.
In the Swedish Superettan league Aziz Corr's GIF Sundsvall were beaten 2-1 by Hammarby IF on Tuesday.
Aziz played the whole game, while striker Saihou Jagne came in as a substitute.
GIF Sundsvall will play their next match against Jönköpings Södra on April 27 at home.
