One Lamin Badjie recently testified in the trial involving one Adama Bojang, who was accused of assault case causing actual bodily harm, at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court presided over by Magistrate Dayoh M. Small Dago
In his testimony, the second prosecution witness (PW2), Lamin Badjie, told the court that on 28 March 2013, he found Isatou and Adama quarrelling and he asked Isatou what was the matter while in the compound exchanging words with Adama.
Isatou told him she was quarrelling with Adama Bojang because Adama hit her with a pestle on her head, Badjie explained.
“I then took Isatou to her mother’s selling place and while I was going with Isatou, I heard Adama saying that she will kill Isatou and bury her,” PW2 said.
Asked by the police prosecutor if he had been called at any police station to give a statement, he said he was called at Kabafita Police Station to give a statement.
The case was adjourned till 30 July 2014.
