Appeal to President Jammeh

A teacher at the BakotehLowerBasicSchool who has been ill for the past two years has appealed to President Jammeh for medical assistance to get further medical treatment in Senegal.

Fatou J. Barry in an interview with this paper on Saturday said she is appealing to the president to help her go for medical treatment as she could not afford the cost of such overseas treatment.

"Presently, my condition is getting worse and I cannot even go to school to teach. I cannot afford to buy my medication and that is why I am calling on the president to help me.
