Antwerp Banjul Challenge Donates Gunjur Radio Station

Antwerp Banjul Challenge recently donated a vehicle to Gunjur Radio Station, Jannehkoto FC 101.1 FM as part of their contributions towards the improvement and development of the radio station.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the Administrative Secretary of the Radio Station, Mr. Modou Janneh applauded Antwerp Banjul Challenge and their partner Lamin Jamba Jammeh for supporting the radio station. He noted that the donated item would go a long way towards easing their transportation difficulties and facilitating their work.

He stated that they would continue to work hand-in-glove with Antwerp Banjul Challenge in their endeavours to realise their dreams and objectives.

He assured the donors that the donated item would be properly put to good use and wished them happiness, good health and long life.

Speaking on behalf of the donors, Lamin Jamba Jammeh, a partner of the donors, said that Gunjur Radio Station, Jannehkoto FM belongs to the whole nation and not only the people of Gunjur and Kombo South. He challenged all and sundry to render support to the radio station.

He assured them of their readiness to support the radio station whenever the need arises. He appealed to the people of Kombo South and its environs to rally behind the radio station.

In the same vein, Antwerp Banjul Challenge also donated a set of jersey to World 11 FC as part of their contributions towards the development of grassroots football in The Gambia.

The presentation ceremony was witnessed by members of Antwerp Banjul Challenge, representative of the Alkalo, Alhagie Sabanni Cham and cross-section of the community.
