Sira Fadera was yesterday arraigned before Magistrate Secka of the Brikama Magistrates' Court charged with concealment of birth.
This came barely a week after Isatou Jammeh of Farato village was convicted and sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for the same offence.
According to the charge sheet, the accused on 12th October at Kabokor village in the West Coast Region concealed the delivery of her newly born baby by secretly disposing of the said child.
She pleaded not guilty to the charge and was subsequently granted bail in the sum of D50,000 with one Gambian surety.
The case was adjourned to 4th November 2010 for continuation.
