Ambassador Diagne presents credentials to Obama

Babacar Diagne, former Senegalese ambassador to The Gambia, now ambassador to the USA, presented his credentials to President Barack H. Obama, on 18 November 2014.

When contacted, Ambassador Diagne expressed delight to represent his country in “this great American nation”, which has strong ties with Senegal.

Ambassador Diagne further said President Obama magnified Senegalese democracy and thanked President Macky Sall for the decisive support he is giving in the fight against Ebola.

President Obama singled out the humanitarian corridor at Dakar Airport, where Americans and Senegalese work hand in hand.
